SPS/CORAL FRAGS SHIPPING

All items are shipped priority overnight using UPS. It will be $100 flat rate shipping and handling including box, heat or cold packs. Orders over $399 will ship free.

For live sales one instance of shipping must be purchased for orders under $400. If your purchases during a live sale exceed $399 then your order will ship for free. Shipping modules can be found here.

We ship all of our packages via “Shipper Release”. This is a request by us to UPS to release or leave a shipment on the first delivery attempt. A signature by the recipient will not be required and a UPS delivery record showing a completed “Shipper Release” delivery shall be conclusive proof that delivery was completed.

We use “Shipper Release” in case a customer does not respond to a UPS delivery person when they try to make initial contact with the recipient when delivering a package. There is no guarantee a second delivery attempt will be made on the same day, which may push delivery back a day and potentially harm or kill the live coral being delivered.

By using “Shipper Release”, ReefBum, LLC is not responsible for any DOA’s that result from a package being left outside for more than an hour in either cold (under 60 degrees Fahrenheit) or hot (over 80 degrees Fahrenheit) weather. The customer should be present at the delivery address on the agreed upon delivery date and make every attempt to bring the package inside as soon as possible after delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the status and delivery of a package via the UPS tracking link sent to the customer by ReefBum, LLC the day before an order ships.

By using “Shipper Release” ReefBum, LLC is not responsible for any packages that are lost or damaged after a package is delivered to the address provided by a customer. This includes packages left at UPS Stores or other places of business that accept deliveries from UPS. UPS Stores are independently owned and operated by licensed franchisees of Mail Boxes ETC, an indirect subsidiary of UPS.

If UPS verifies that a package is delivered to a UPS store or another place of business then ReefBum, LLC is not liable or responsible for a package that is lost or damaged by the UPS Store or another place of business. ReefBum, LLC is also not responsible for any DOA’s that may result if a UPS Store or another place of business does not make the package available to the customer on the same day it was delivered by UPS.

If you are having a package delivered to an official UPS Customer Center, a UPS Store or another place of business then you must make every effort to pick up the package as soon as possible once the package is delivered. ReefBum, LLC is not responsible for any DOA’s that may result if a package held for pick-up at a UPS Customer Center, a UPS Store or another place of business is not picked up on the same day it is delivered.

If a package is not picked up by a customer at a UPS Customer Center, UPS Store or another place of business and is subsequently sent back to the sender (ReefBum, LLC), then the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping charges.

ReefBum, LLC cannot be held responsible for mechanical or weather delays that may cause your UPS shipment to arrive late. Keep in mind we do whatever we can do to make it right! We are not responsible for incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

If you place an order and then ask to cancel it, you will be refunded your order amount LESS the 3% CC/Paypal processing fee that we are charged (processors do not refund this 3% under any circumstances).

Local delivery is only available to Warren, Waitsfield, Moreton or Fayston VT.  After your order is placed, we will send you an email to arrange for a delivery day.  Friday and Saturday delivery is not available.

We highly recommend having the package delivered to an official UPS Customer Center near you and have it marked “HOLD FOR PICK-UP”.  UPS Stores are not official UPS Customer Centers. This will reduce travel time and limit exposure to adverse heat or cold conditions that might be present on the delivery truck.

Shipping is only to Continental US.

We are located in Vermont and during the winter it can get cold, really cold.  As a result, we will use our discretion and not ship when the temperature is way below zero.  The same goes for the destination city.  If there are extreme cold or heat conditions on your end then we will work with your to find a safe time to ship.

Please note we do not ship right before and during major holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and July 4th). Specifically, we do not ship the week before Christmas or between Christmas and New Years’s Day. The risk to live coral shipments is simply too great due to the high volume of shipping that occurs during these times.

All orders must ship within 2 weeks of order date. If you need to reach us please send an email to info@reefbum.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

SPS FRAGS DOA GUARANTEE

Our corals are healthy and happy when shipped out and they are pest free.  Please note that we use 400W 20,000k Radium bulbs and LED’s on our tanks and all photos and videos are taken in these lighting conditions.  The frag(s) you receive may look different if you use a different light.

We guarantee all of our items to arrive alive. If, for some reason, an item does not arrive alive, you must contact us via email, with detailed pictures of the item within two hours after the package arrives. If, in our opinion, the item is deemed to be deceased or defective, a credit will be applied to your credit card for the purchase price of the dead frag.

Charge backs for the entire shipment including shipping without contacting us via email are illegal and will be prosecuted for fraud.

All purchases assume the customer has intermediate to advanced reef keeping experience. We are not responsible for errors in acclimation, general care (over or under lighting, water flow, water chemistry, temperature, or inter species coral aggression). Please ask if you are unsure as we are here to help!

Refund Policy

We want you to love what you ordered, but if something isn’t right, let us know.

If you place an order and then ask to cancel it, you will be refunded your order amount LESS the 3% CC/Paypal processing fee that we are charged (processors do not refund this 3% under any circumstances).

You can return unwashed and unworn products by mail within 30 days of your order date. To qualify for a refund you will need to send an email to us at orders@reefbum.com within 14 days of the order date.

Please follow these instructions to package your return and mail it back to us:

  1. Include a copy of the invoice.
  2. Circle the item(s) that you are returning and note the quantity and return reason(s) for each item on your invoice.
  3. Pack and seal your return securely, in the original package if possible, and send it to the following address:

PAX BELLUM ARID REACTORS SHIPPING, WARRANTY & REFUND POLICY

Limited Warranty

To be covered by this limited warranty, the product must have been purchased directly from Pax Bellum, LLC or, an authorized retailer in the United States.

How long does the warranty last?

It is certified that the ARID reactor(s) are guaranteed for free replacement or repairs up to 1 year from the date of purchase against assembly/manufacturing/material faults. Pax Bellum LLC is responsible for any kind of problem in the product within one year of its purchase.

Who do you contact to get warranty service?

In case of guarantee claims, please contact Pax Bellum LLC (MANUFACTURER) at 802-293-6213, Mon-Fri between the hours of 9:30am to 6:30pm Eastern Standard Time, to obtain return instructions. You must submit proof of purchase in the form of a bona fide, dated bill of sale, receipt, or invoice (or copy thereof) evidencing that your request for service is made within the warranty period.

What will the company do if the product fails?

No charge will be made for parts or labor involved: Only transport charges shall be paid by the consumer/buyer. Pax Bellum LLC will not be responsible for any damage to or loss of the product while it is in transit to us. We recommend that you use a carrier that will track your shipment and ensure the product’s safe delivery. Pax Bellum LLC cannot accept any returns sent C.O.D.

ARID reactors are guaranteed to be free of all workmanship and materials defects. The guarantee covers free replacement of parts during the guarantee period of 1 year from the date of purchase.

What parts and repair problems are covered?

Pax Bellum LLC Warrants to you, the original purchaser (this limited warranty is not transferable), that under normal use and service, the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase (warranty period).

If you discover a defect covered by this limited warranty during the warranty period, and return the product to Pax Bellum LLC, we will repair or replace the product, at our option, using new components. There is no warranty or condition of any kind as to any defects discovered after the warranty period expires.

Does the warranty cover “consequential damages?”

Under no circumstances, does the warranty cover consequential damages also known as “special damages”.

Does the warranty cover “compensatory damages?”

Under no circumstances, does the warranty cover compensatory damages. Use or misuse of products manufactured by Pax Bellum LLC that result in personal or property damage is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Are there any conditions or limitations on the warranty?

Product would be replaced or repaired free of cost if there is any problem with its working. but under the following conditions the warranty would not be provided:

If the product is not operated or maintained in accordance with the operational manual supplied by Pax Bellum LLC.

Any misuse, abuse, or negligence such as, but not limited too;

  • Dismantling, tampering with, or modification in any way not covered by the instruction manual resulting in damage.
  • Placing the unit in a location subjected to water, or salt spray resulting in electrical short.
  • Any fault occurred due to incorrect power supply.
  • Hindering adequate cooling ofthe light assembly.
  • “Running the ARID lights in the reactor for extended periods without water.
  • Any accidents or acts ofGod such as, but not limited too;
  • If the unit is damaged after a fall, or a shock.
  • If the unit is submerged in water resulting in electrical short.
  • Exposure to extreme heat, or cold.
  • Damage resulting from lack of knowledge in plumbing or hand tool technology.
  • Cosmetic damage.

These are the terms and conditions of warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Warranty & Refunds

GHL provides a 2 year warranty against core GHL products; ProfiLux, Mitras LX7, Dosers, KHD and IOND. Probe warranty info can be found at the bottom of this page.  As for refunds, ReefBum, LLC and GHL USA do not accept returns unless an item was incorrectly shipped or there is a valid warranty case. All sales are final. Customers will be directed to GHL USA for all warranty issues.


ROYAL EXCLUSIV SHIPPING, WARRANTY & REFUND POLICY

Warranty & Refunds

Royal Exclusiv USA provides a 2 year warranty against manufacturer related issues on RD3 and RDX pumps and a 1 year warranty on standard AC pumps. As for refunds, ReefBum, LLC and Royal Exclusiv USA do not accept returns. All sales are final. Customers will be directed to Royal Exclusiv USA for all warranty issues.
